July

It's insanely hot and humid now. The apartment feels like a sauna the moment you step it. And, I'm not joking. The entire apartment is like a greenhouse, an excellent hot bed for breeding germs, bacteria and mould. I'm going to head to the supermarket this weekend to stock up on anti-mould products. The one thing I miss about winter is that, you can store your food outside and it won't go bad!

Work is slowing down because I have finished my final lessons in the base school. I'll be bidding farewell to one of my visiting schools because come august, I won't have to go there any more. I'm not particularly sad because I don't feel very attached to the students and teachers since I'm only there half a day per week.

In another week, summer vacation will begin and it will mark my first year in Japan. I feels surreal. To think that one year ago, I was so clueless and uncertain! I couldn't even ride the bicycle well!

I will take some leave in August and I'll be going to Hokkaido to do some photography! YAY! But, what I'm more excited about is my trip to Seoul in October. I just paid the deposit for it! YAY! The land of K-pop, here I come!
